Keeping Up

Do you find it hard to keep track of all the different channels that information is being submitted through? We need to check Twitter every minute, Facebook every hour, Google+ daily and don't forget about Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. Now if you are a business owner, multiply that by 2. You have one of each of these accounts, one for business and one for personal use.

What about yelp and bing? And remember to check and constantly update your website and your blog.

Now when are we supposed to get any work done, clean our house, or spend time with our family?

We all need to take a technology break every now and then.

Take a walk and enjoy nature. Leave your music and phone behind and just look around and breathe.

There is so much beauty out there that we are missing.

Technology is necessary today but we also need a break from it to clear our minds.

Try to schedule time for yourself everyday even if it's just 30 minutes. Turn off your phone and computer. Take a walk. Read a book. Just sit in the quietness.

Enjoy!

Vacant Property

Did you know that homeowner's insurance may not cover your property if it is vacant?

Check your policy and check with your personal agent. Many policies exclude certain coverages if the home is vacant more than 30 or 60 days.

Is your house for sale, in the name of an estate, or maybe even under renovation? You need to get in front of your agent, NOW. It's possible that your home policy is no longer adequate.

Does Home Insurance Cover Flood?

Check your policy. You might be surprised. Flood insurance is a separate policy. It is not included in your homeowners policy.

Not only is it separate, there is typically a 30 day waiting period from the date of purchase for the policy to be effective.

Don't wait! Coverage starts as low as $129 per year. And did you know floods are the #1 natural disaster in the United States?

It's not worth the risk.
